My mower used to work but needed the carb cleaned.I took it in, figured it'd only be a day or two, but they said two weeks. I asked if that was for the estimate or work done and they acted surprised I even wanted an estimate. It took 3.5 weeks to get an extimate. I was told $130 because there was water in the fuel and the carb needed cleaning. I told them no, went to pick it up and when I got it, It was covered in mud, everything was wet, the fuel line was disconnected, clamp was missing, as well as the carb and air filter were still disassembled. I asked them why it was not put back together and the response was that it was common practice to not put it back together on an estimate (even though I had been charged $32.50 for the experience) and that all shops did it. I essentially paid them to store my mower outdoors in the rain (hence the water in the fuel) and make the problem worse. It won't even start now.
